Vintage 1930s Oscar B. Bach Candelabra Table Lamp

A vintage circa 1930s candelabra lamp by German/American craftsman Oscar B. Bach (1884-1957). Bach was born in Breslau, Germany, receiving his formal fine art education at the Royal Academy in Berlin and Academy of Art in Berlin before relocating to New York City. Bach won the 1911 Grand Prix at the World’s Exposition in Turin for a bed design for Kaiser Wilhelm II. His work can be found in the permanent collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Dallas Museum of art and more. This lamp features a gold-tone metal baluster body accented by etched designs. Four scrolled arms protrude from the top, each with a faux candle socket. There are five sockets total with cream pleated shades and bobeches with gadroom trim. The underside is marked ‘Oscar B.
