An offset lithograph on paper titled The Dionne Quintuplets ‘Maytime’ after American illustrator Andrew Loomis (1892-1959). This piece features the five sisters Annette, Cécile, Yvonne, Émilie, and Marie Dionne, the first set of quintuplets known to survive infancy. They are pictured here as young girls surrounding a robin’s nest in which four baby birds are waiting for a meal. Cécile tempts them with a worm, and the mother bird sits on a branch above. It is signed in print to the lower right corner, and the name of each girl is printed below her likeness in the lower margin. The title of the piece is printed to the lower center margin as well. This print is presented behind glass in a beveled, gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.
