An offset lithograph on paper titled The Ritual of the Dervishes. This illustration depicts a ritual Sufi whirling, a type of active meditation practiced by Muslim dervishes of Sufism, as well as some others. These men are spinning in a rotation that evokes the orbits of planets in a solar system. They wear tall felt hats and white robes that splay out around them as they spin. A gold tone placard on the lower center states the title of the work. The piece is presented with a mat, behind glass, and framed with wire for hanging.

- wear and tears to edges of paper; toning to paper; nicks and scratches around the frame.
