Influenced by the Dutch Masters, De Beul demonstrates a splendid use of light and texture. The art is signed ‘H. De Beul’ and dated ‘1883’ to the lower left. The shipping or label information on the reverse indicates it was shipped to Sophia Hillenbrand.
