An Empire style armchair. It has a dark stained wooden frame with flat crest rail and sloped sides leading to scrolled armrests, framing a curved back. It has cabriole legs raised on casters. The back, seat, and small section of the armrests are all upholstered in a velvet material with a tapestry pattern in jewel tones on a brown field.
