A large collection of Watcombe Torquay pottery. This collection of forty seven Motto Ware pieces of earthenware pottery features hand inscribed mottos on a variety of pieces. The collection includes coffee cups, mugs, saucers, bowls, salt and pepper set, and ink well, and more. These pieces are hand formed and painted and marked to the underside.
Condition
- some of the items have chips on the edges and rim, oval tray has a crack down the middle, marks and wear consistent with age and use.
