An original watercolor by American artist and member of American Watercolor Society (AWS), Virginia Brooks. This moody watercolor depicts a harbor scene with figures in boats and on the dock engaged in activity. There is a suggestion of architecture in the distance. The composition is painted loosely with transparent washes in gold, gray, and blue. Artist signature is marked in blue ink to the lower right. This work is double-matted in gray and white and presented behind glass, framed in silver tone painted wood, wired to hang.
