An oil portrait on canvas of an elderly gentleman by listed American artist Emily D. Callari (1925-2013). The work depicts a man wearing western-style clothes, staring out at the viewer with a serious expression on his face. Soft colors are used to blend the composition together with very few areas of raised color. The painting is signed ‘E. Callari’ in paint to the bottom right. To the verso is an inscription reading ‘Wreaky-Gessoed 20’ x 24’’. Presented unmounted and unframed.

- to fair; some wear and fraying around edges of canvas; multiple scratches to the face of the canvas.
