Ink Wash
An original large 1986 ink and watercolor illustration on heavyweight fine Arches watercolor paper with deckled edges by very well-listed contemporary illustrator and cartoonist Emerson Quillin (Indiana/Cincinnati/Florida). The monochromatic illustration depicts a clown seated at a wide table drinking from a cup of tea. The piece is signed and dated in ink to the lower right. The Arches blind-stamp is embossed to the lower right and upper left of the paper. The piece is mounted to a white backing and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
