A late 20th-century oil pastel drawing on paper of a Bay Area city scene by well-listed contemporary American plein air artist, Brian Blood (Massachusetts/California; born 1962). This drawing, completed circa early 1990s, depicts a twilight view down a hill of a city street ending at the bay. Artist initials are signed in pastel to the lower left. The work is presented under acrylic glass with a white mat in a blonde wood frame, equipped to hang.
Blood’s works have been exhibited widely across the country and are included in the collections of numerous private and major corporate institutions, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Half Moon Bay; Pacific Bell Offices, San Francisco; McKesson Corporation, San Francisco; and California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco.
