A collection of Asian inspired trays and vessels. This collection offers a white porcelain ginger jar with all-over floral motifs with gilt rim, marked to the underside, ‘Japan, China, decorated in Hong Kong’ along with Asian characters. There is also a brass handled vessel with raised cloisonne cherry blossoms, along with figural and geometric motifs, this piece goes unmarked. A small enameled tray in a bright turquoise with floral motifs, over a copper toned metal, marked ‘China’ to the underside is included, as well as a set of eight small coaster like ceramic trays with bright foliate and floral motifs, marked ‘Made in Japan’. Lastly is an embossed copper toned tray with all-over scrolling vines featuring a silver toned finish, marked ‘R & M’ near a hanger to the underside, along with undecipherable stickers.
Condition
- to fair, condition is consistent with age and shows signs of wear to the finish, with enamel loss, tarnish, residue, and scuffs.
