An offset lithograph on paper exhibition poster promoting the display of the works of well-listed contemporary American Western genre artist John Axton’s (born 1947) works at the Breckenridge Gallery in Breckenridge, Colorado. The works exhibited were created between 1977 and 1984. The poster features a reproduction of an original oil painting by the artist, depicting a buffalo standing in a minimalist landscape and casting the shadow of a figure on horseback. The poster is unsigned. It is presented behind non-glare glass in a silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire.
