A pair of watercolor paintings of buildings, by artists Sidney Platt and Krista Boehnert Roche. These loose works each feature the white-walled structures against earthy grounds of grass and trees, the scene rendered by Platt crossed here and there by telephone lines. The painting by Boehnert Roche, titled The Compton House, includes an assortment of autumnal colors, and both are signed by the artist to a lower margin. They are matted under protective glazing in slim wooden frames, both with hanging wires and gallery cards to their versos.

Condition

- minor wear to both frames, with “The Compton House” frame separating at corners; stains to mat of “The Compton House”; “The Compton House” is loose in frame.
