A Queen Anne style jewelry chest. This piece has a cherry finish. The top is hinged, lifting to reveal a mirror and divided storage space lined in green velvet-like fabric. To the front is a full-length door with carved shell motif on the left, with necklace hooks and lined shelves within. To the right are six lined raised panel drawers with brass-toned rosette pulls. The chest rises on cabriole front legs, and it is marked ‘1997 Powell’ to the verso.
