A George I style wooden armchair with cane seat. The back is crested with a fan carving over a pierced center splat. The straight armrests have carved ends that rest on curved stiles. The curved apron has a shell carving to the center, which echoes the top, while the restrained cabriole legs have leaf carving to the knee and paw carving to the feet. The legs are joined by a curved H-stretcher.
