A signed original oil on canvas painting by listed artist Josef Krotter (Austrian, born 1894). This painting depicts a stone cottage with a thatched roof on the side of a winding dirt road. The painting is signed ‘Krotter’ to the lower left corner and is housed in a solid wooden frame with embedded rope detail and a wire hanger to the verso.
