Mixed Media Chinese Collage of Two Peacocks
Item Details
An original contemporary mixed media Chinese collage. The collage is made of finely cut, dyed, and layered rattan-like grasses applied over silk with a watercolor painted background. The image depicts two peacocks resting on a twisting branch, set against a stark white background. The piece is signed in ink to the right center margin, and an artist’s seal is stamped in red to the lower right. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame carved to look like bamboo with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.

- scuffing across glass. Light scratching and wear across frame.
