A set of two hand-colored restrike etchings on paper. Featured is The Meet from Herring’s Fox-Hunting Scenes, engraved by J. Harris after a 19th-century painting by listed British artist J.F. Herring; it is noted with ‘London, Published October 1867 by R. Dodson’ to the lower margin. The print is double-matted in brown and cream linen and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also featured is An Afternoon Draw after an 1894 illustration by listed British artist Heywood Hardy (1843 – 1933). It is signed in plate to the lower left and includes notations to the outer margins of ‘Printed by Heywood Hardy, London, Published 1895 by Dowdeswell & Dowdeswells and Arthur Lucas, Republished by Louis Wolff & Co’. The print is double-matted in red and taupe linen and presented under glass in a coated wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
