Newcombe and Erskine Signed Baseballs

Item Details

A pair of baseballs signed by two former Brooklyn Dodgers players. Don Newcombe signed the ‘sweet spot’ of a National League (Feeney Pres.) baseball and added, ‘Cy Young 1956 NL MVP’ with a blue ink pen. He pitched for the Dodgers from 1949-1957. Carl Erskine signed the ‘sweet spot’, putting his jersey number ‘#17’ above his signature. Carl wrote, ‘Jackie Robinson Teammate 1948-1956’ on the panel below his signature. Carl pitched for the Dodgers from 1948-1957. Carl’s signature was authenticated by PSA/DNA, their sticker is on the baseball. Don’s signature has not been authenticated.
