These editions of the novels, published by Dana Estes & Company of Boston in the early twentieth century, feature introductions and notes by Andrew Lang and illustrations by various artists. The books are bound in full green cloth-covered boards with gilt spine decoration; the titles in this collection are Betrothed, Rob Roy, Fair Maid of Perth, Guy Mannering, The Pirate, Redgauntlet, Kenilworth and Woodstock.
