Item Details
An original oil painting on board of a still life arrangement, unsigned. This still life is comprised of three apples, two gold and one red, and accented with autumn oak leaves. The colors in the composition are warm and muted in tones of ochre, red, and gray-green. The piece is framed in gold tone painted wood, which shows evidence of repainting. To the verso, the piece is wired to hang.
Condition
- the frame shows some areas of chipped paint, painted over. There is some chipping of paint to the image.
