An oil painting on panel by listed Texas artist Cal Gaspard (born 1934). The piece depicts a peaceful autumn landscape that features a tall tree with orange leaves bordering a glassy lake, set against a backdrop of distant purple hills. The work is signed in black paint to the lower right. It is double-matted in dark green and pale indigo and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with embossed foliate details to the edges, fitted with a hanging wire to the verso.
