A 2012 limited edition giclée print on paper by contemporary Toronto artist Helen Breznik (21st century). The piece, titled Carmella, depicts a digitally embellished photographic portrait of a female subject with upswept hair and layered feathered and ruffled collars. She is set against a green pockmarked background that resembles the moon’s surface. The print was issued by ArtHaus galleries in San Francisco to commemorate the 2012 winners of the annual Mobile Photography Awards. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 2 out of an edition of 15. It is matted in green and presented under glass in a wooden frame with copper tone foliate gesso embellishments to the front and hanging wire to the verso.
