South African Ukhamba Beer Basket

A vintage Ukhamba-style beer basket, attributed to Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This basket was made in 1978 and has a tone-on-tone geometric design of diamonds and zig-zags, rendered in natural palm fibers in hues of brown and beige. It is unmarked.

- minor wear consistent with age and use; some areas of pulling.
