A pair of vintage collotypes on paper after original 1847 and 1865 hand-pulled lithographs printed in the American publication ’Godey’s Americanized Paris Fashions_. Both prints depict two women in ornate dresses and headdresses. The date and name of the publication are printed to the lower margin of each. The prints are presented behind glass in antique deeply-tiered wooden frames with stripes of black, gold tone, and neutral finishes. Decorative carving marks each corner, and each frame has a hanging wire attached to the verso.

Condition

- paper are quite yellowed with age. Extensive water damage to reproduction of 1847 print.
