Antique Mintons for Tiffany & Co Encrusted Porcelain Plates Circa 1901-11
Item Details
A collection of twelve antique Mintons plates made for Tiffany & Co. in New York circa 1901-11. Each plate features encrusted gilding and a blue ground. One group of six has decoration including garlands and jeweling. Each example has decoration that was very labor intensive. Printed marks on the underside include the factory marks for ‘Mintons’ and ‘Tiffany & Co.New York’ as well as ‘Made in England’.
Condition
- crazing present in some plates; two plates have stained hairline fractures on surface; two patterns.
