An original miniature hand-colored etching on wove paper, titled Traveller. The image depicts a formal portrait of the horse ridden by American Confederate General E. Lee during the United States’ Civil War. The print has small areas of hand-coloring the horse’s saddle and harness. The print is signed illegibly, titled, and numbered 4/25 in graphite to the lower margin. It is matted in white silk with a gold tone fillet and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame. A stand is attached to the piece’s verso.
