A Willie Mays framed autographed picture that depicts his famous catch in the 1954 World Series is featured in this lot. The 1954 World Series had the New York Giants, the National League Champions, vs the American League Champions, the Cleveland Indians. The over the shoulder catch that Willie Mays made was a feat that is still replayed today. His catch kept the game at a tie, preventing the Indians from scoring. The Giants went on to win that first game of the World Series, and in fact, they went on to sweep the Indians. Willie signed the photo with a blue marker. This item was certified by the ‘Say Hey’ Authenticated, a company owned by Willie Mays; their hologram is located at the lower left corner.
