Ansonia Walnut Shelf Clock

Item Details

A Victorian shelf clock, by Ansonia Clock Company, marked on original paper face. The walnut case has a carved crest with turned finials, above turned columns and an embossed gilt brass bezel and glass door. The original paper face has Roman numerals and two winding holes. The brass works are marked ‘Ansonia Clock Co, New York’ and ’Pat’d June 18, 1882’. Includes pendulum and key. Working condition unknown.

Condition

- The clock did not strike, when hands were rotated, running condition unknown.
