A Chinese style ink drawing on paper of robed figures. This contour line drawing depicts two figures clutching at a tea kettle and potted vessel, staring at one another while conversing. They stand before a larger, bearded man seated in a traditional draped chair, smirking as he holds a teacup close to his face while peering down at an open book. These figures are presumed to be attendants and a scholar The unsigned drawing is presented under glass beneath matting featuring a gold tone liner. This is placed in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- some dirt on drawing; frame contains nicks and scratches; spacer missing to lower left corner of verso.
