An original bird sculpture by folk artist Marvin Finn.* Iconic for his “bird flock” bird pieces, this sculpture depicts a white spotted bird head with comically large open mouth and a pink sphere on a post. The piece is signed and dated on the bottom reading, “Finn ’95.”

*Marvin Finn (1913 – 2007) was born in Alabama, but became an established artist in Louisville where he started producing his unique folk art in 1972. A tribute to the artist is on permanent display on Louisville’s waterfront titled Flock of Finns and features 28 metal bird sculptures based on Finn’s work.
