An antique Lewis, Straus & Sons Limoges porcelain platter. This platter features a rectangular form with scalloped edges and molded handles. The central transferware design depicts a couple in Edwardian attire greeting each other. The piece was hand-embellished with gold tone and pink glazes with floral and scrolled accents. The platter is marked ‘LS & S Limoges’ to the reverse indicating it was produced between 1890 and 1920 by Lewis, Straus & Sons.
