Item Details

An antique free-standing cast iron water heater by Pittsburg Water Heater Company. The water heater features a round tall body and is painted in a brushed gold finish rising atop cabriole legs. It is decorated with raised lion masks to the top, scroll accents throughout the body and is hallmarked Pittsburg. The front doors open to reveal three round glass shelves. The heater retains its original tag which reads ‘Pittsburg Automatic Instantaneous Water Heater, Size No. 3, Style A, Serial No. 23693, October 1, 1902 – September 24, 1907.’
