A flat woven floral Aubusson style area rug. The machine loomed wool rug has an all over floral motif featuring cabbage roses and lobed flowers, with scrolled urn accents on a beige ground in accents of gray, blue, ivory, brown and green. The center field is framed by a wide terra cotta guard border displaying scrolled acanthus and floral decoration. The rug is finished with turned under ends to the long selvages. Unmarked by the manufacturer.
