Antique Steamer Trunk with Original Interior

Item Details

An antique steamer trunk with original interior compartments. This 19th century trunk features a slightly domed lid. The exterior slats are wood with metal trim and all clamps are metal or brass. The interior includes original compartments. Each covered in paper with lithograph prints of Victorian ladies and women riding horses with battle gear. The full-length top drawer lifts out and a top lid compartment opens for extra storage. A front closure clamp is embossed ‘Patented July 1.73.’
