Item Details

A Mid Century Modern high back lounge chair by Karpen of California. This West Coast Atomic chair (also known as the Horn chair) has a tall back, tapering to the low, shaped seat, which curves out and up, and is set with a pillow in the center. The tapered wooden legs connect along the front with a high stretcher. The back, seat, and pillow are upholstered in a blue and cream abstract floral print. It bears no maker’s mark, but retains a storage tag on one leg.
