Vintage Bow Front Glass and Maple Veneer Curio Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage bow front glass and maple veneer curio cabinet. The cabinet features a bowed top with a short guard along the back and a curved notch cut from the front, matching the shape of the veneered niche centered at the front of the piece. To either sided of the niche the cabinet has curved glass front doors embellished with cut and arranged strips of veneered wood, and below the niche the cabinet has a bowed door embellished with vertical strips of veneered wood and a silver tone scroll and diamond applied design. At the base the cabinet has a scalloped skirt and stands on four legs with large knees which taper to wide club feet. The back on the inside of the cabinet is finished with a light beige acanthus motif lining and there are two fixed glass shelves to display items. The side doors have carved floral motif keyholes and a key is included.

- missing veneer on one wood strip. Few nicks and scratches primarily to skirt and feet.
