A framed chromolithograph print, after a painting by artist Frederick S. Cozzens (1846-1928). The print is softly colored, depicting a large ship amidst smaller water craft, floating just off land, with hills in the distance. It is signed in plate to the lower left ‘Fred S. Cozzens 45’ and is also marked ‘Armstrong & Co. Lith. Boston’. The right margin is marked ‘Copyright 1893 American Publishing Co. Hartford, Conn.’. The print is presented with a custom mat and glass in a gilded wood frame with a hanging wire on the back.
