Item Details
A vintage aquatint print, titled Landing of British Troops in Egypt, March 8, 1801. The print depicts a military battle scene involving troops on land and in small watercraft, with rolling smoke from cannon fire. The title of the print appears to the bottom center, and the bottom right is marked ‘Aquatinted by Sutherland’. The print is presented with a white mat that has red and blue pinstripes, with glass in a gilded wood frame with a hanging wire on the back.
