Hand-Colored Engraving After Joseph Zocchi "Veduta di Firenze"

A hand colored engraving titled Veduta di Firenze dal Convento de P.P. Cappuccini di Montughi after Joseph Zocchi (1717 – 1767). On paper, this engraving depicts the view of Florence’s Tuscany region, as seen from the Capuchin convent at Montughi. The lower left is marked ‘Joseph Zocchi delin. floren.’, and the lower right is engraved by, and marked ‘Johan Andreas Pfeffel S.C.M. Chalcogr sculpt. durex Aug. Vind.’ The art is presented under glass in a gold tone frame, with ivory tone mat. The reverse is marked ‘Milton A. Bleir Corp,’ and includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
