These books, published in 1924 by Charles Scribner’s Sons of New York, are bound in full red cloth-covered boards with gilt and pressed cover decoration including a thistle motif. Each volume is designated on the front cover and title page with a mid-level title such as The Novels and Tales of Robert Louis Stevenson or The Letters and Miscellanies of Robert Louis Stevenson; these volumes include such well-known works as the New Arabian Nights and Treasure Island.
