An antique hand-knotted Sarouk area area rug. The rug features a pattern of floral palmettes across the deep red field in a palette of black, cream, taupe, pink, and blue. The field is surrounded by a compound border that features a floral guard border and a primary border. The primary border features a floral pattern in palette of blue, red, tan, and black on a white field. It has white wool fringe and is unmarked.
