Sterling Silver Compacts Featuring Elgin
Item Details
A group of three sterling silver compacts. The largest is by Elgin and has a sunburst pattern on the top of the hinged cover. When opened, it reveals a mirror and a hinged chamber for the thin puff. The smallest compact is hallmarked ‘Mexico Sterling’ and has a sunburst chased design on the cover which opens to a mirror and a hinged compartment. The third and oldest compact has a chased scroll motif and has a monogram, ‘ADR’. The sterling mark is hard to discern. The total approximate weight is 11.220 ozt.
