Six Vintage Compacts
Item Details
A group of six vintage compacts all in different designs including two smaller sized in silver tone by Yardley with fine line pattern to the lid with applied gold tone insignia of a woman and two children to the center, one has the original Yardley powder puff, both are marked to the bottom. One is a smaller octagon shaped Richard Hudnut design in gold tone with black enameled inset to the lid, marked le Debut. Another one by Richard Hudnut is round with recessed blue enameling to the lid with raised sunburst motif. An oval shaped Volupté box style with black enameled lid which has raised scroll and leaf design. And finally, a copper tone square compact which is unmarked but has an embossed diamond pattern with bands of thin lines on the lid.
Condition
- fair, some show wear to the outside finish or the mirror inside. One Yardley seems to be missing it’s push button.
