An East Asian style hand-painted porcelain vase. This oblong vase features a hand painted composition of various birds and insects fluttering around an outcrop of growing flowers, which is contained by a detailed motif of scroll and foliate patterning. This composition features a palette of green, yellow, salmon, blue and orange tones. On either side of the vase are affixed handles, which are moulded to resemble a stylized, four-legged animal glazed in a gold tone. This vase is unmarked.
