Antique 19th-Century Scratch Pottery Jug from Wabash, Indiana
Item Details
A brown antique pottery scratch jug from the 19th century. This salt-glazed stoneware scratch pottery jug is inscribed ‘Compliments of J.G. Huff, Staple & Fancy Grocer Wabash, Ind’ along the exterior. The jug has a curved handle which bridges the neck and the body of the vessel. Piece is unmarked on the bottom.
