A chromolithograph after a painting by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin (English 1870 – 1935) titled Skating. It depicts people ice skating on a frozen river or pond and two children racing by a large gentleman. It was published by Lawrence & Bullen in London in 1901. It is signed in the plate to the lower right and mounted under glass in a dark brown stained wooden frame and liner and is wired for hanging. Cecil Aldin was a popular British artist and illustrator, known for his paintings of sporting scenes, animals and genre scenes.

Condition

- print is age discolored; minor scratches and wear tot he frame.
