A lithograph on paper after listed artist Cecil Aldin (1870 – 1935), titled Shooting. This print depicts a lone, aristocratic man adorned in a colored hunting jacket and white top hat smiling as he opens a wooden picketed fence while clutching at a rifle. Peering from below are two hunting dogs. To the lower left corner of the composition is an in-plate artist signature. The print is presented under glass in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- frame has surface wear, small chips and scuffs; residue under glass; discoloration to print; wear and rips to paper backing.
