A limited edition serigraph print titled Lafayette by Romain De ‘Erté’ Tirtoff (1892-1990). Depicted a woman wearing a Greco-Roman influenced gown with red and blue ribbon accents. In her right hand, she holds a bouquet of roses while she looks at the rose in her left hand. She stands between two bushes with purple flowers. At her feet are twelve rows of red and white flowers. Her shadow on the wall resembles a French court dress from the 1700s. Numbered 173 out of an edition of 300 to the lower left. Signed by hand in graphite to the lower right. To the verso, is a biography for the artist. Work is presented behind acrylic glass in a white and red mat within a metal frame.
