Vintage Compacts Including Volupte

A group of five vintage compacts including a square design by Zell in silver tone with a red enameled cover with chased geometric medallion design accented with flowers and a fine textured pattern to the back. There is a round Leon Laraine of Chicago style with white enameled cover with gold tone floral motif to the center and embossed fine pattern to the back, the compact appears to have not been used but the mirror shows wear to the silver tone material. There is a square gold tone design by Volupté with scrolled floral sprays with script ‘HD’ monogram to the center, hinged powder compartment inside and a fold over handle as the clasp. Also included in the group is a gold tone Yardley London compact in a rectangular design in a satin finish with small image of women to the center plus rouge and powder compartments inside. There is a Zell gold tone round compact with small photo compartment to the lid with floral spray to the center and a push button clasp with tassel.

Condition

- fair, some show wear to the outside finish and to the mirrors inside.
